What's New in the 2025 Tesla Model X?
The Tesla Model X is a mid-size all-electric luxury SUV produced by the automaker Tesla, Inc. (USA). First introduced in 2015, the Model X remains in its first generation to this day. The Model X was developed based on the platform of the Tesla Model S sedan. Both the Model X and Model S are currently manufactured at the Tesla Factory in Fremont, California.
The standout feature of the Model X is its Falcon Wing doors. Within the Tesla lineup, the Model X is positioned above its smaller sibling, the Model Y (a compact crossover).
As of early 2025, the Model X has yet to receive any updates—a notable occurrence, given Tesla's reputation for frequently updating its products. This signals that significant enhancements are likely on the horizon. The Model X's market competitors include the Porsche Taycan and the Audi e-tron.
